ETS Introduces New Package Rates

ETS package rates for our events support services:

Audio Support Packages: Setup $115 per hour, Operate - $67 per hour

The audio support package hourly setup fee includes the equipment and labor required to setup and take-down up to 5 microphones, an audio mixer, and a PA speaker system at any campus location. If you need an ETS audio engineer to stay to operate the equipment during your event the hourly rate is $67.00/hr.

Videotaping Packages: Setup - $100 per camera, Operate - $160 per hour per camera

This rate includes everything required to videotape your event. We charge a one-time setup fee and an hourly (based on the length of your event & number of cameras) for each camera requested.

PowerPoint Capture Package: Setup - $50, Hourly - $30 per hour

The PPT Capture package rate includes the equipment and labor required to capture a clean video signal of the projected image at your event. If any presenters will utilize PPT during the course of your event, we can capture a clean video signal and incorporate it into the finished version of your event video.

Multi-Source Video Editing Package: Setup $35 per hour, Hourly - $85 per hour

ETS will bring the video-tape from the cameras and the PPT (if available) to edit them together into a high quality switched video.

Webcast Distribution Packages: 0-1 Hour Event - $115, 1-2 Hour Event - $125, 2-3 Hour Event - $135

ETS will take the video from your event and put the finishing touches on it for distribution on the web.

This rate includes: adding a title screen with the event title, date, location, and sponsor info; UC Berkeley branding (for official UC Berkeley departments and programs); and encoding & publishing the video to webcast.berkeley, UC Berkeley on iTunes U, and UC Berkeley on YouTube.


Special Package for Live Video Production and Webcasting:

Live Multi-Source Switching Package: Setup - $100, Hourly - $175 per hour

If you are live webcasting your event, or just need to publish it to the web in a hurry and your event is being recorded by one or more cameras and/or a PowerPoint presentation, we recommend Live Multi-Source Switching.

This rate includes the equipment and labor required to send a high-quality switched program of your event to the live webcast or to capture the same signal for our post production specialists to publish quickly.

Live Webcast Package: Setup $170, Hourlyt - $140 per hour

Whether you are trying to reach someone across the state or on the other side of the world, ETS can live webcast your event so no one has to miss it!

This rate includes everything required to broadcast the video of your event on the web. This package is typically used in conjunction with one or more cameras, the PPT capture package, and the live switching package.
