How do I check out a Tablet PC for the semester?

How does the program work?
Berkeley faculty members may apply to the Tablet PC Loan Program for up to one academic semester. There are a limited number of computers available for loan under this program.  Loans are granted based on intended use and availability.

Who may apply?
UC Berkeley teaching faculty, including lecturers, who have never participated in the program are eligible. Applicants must be scheduled to teach a UC Berkeley course during the semester for which they apply in a classroom that has installed computer data projection or scheduled to pick up a portable data projector from ETS or supporting department.

How much does it cost?
The loan of a laptop is free of charge to qualified applicants. In order to offer this service to as many faculty as possible, the loan program is limited to one academic semester and is not repeatable.

How do I apply?

Fill out an application and drop it off at ETS, 44 Dwinelle Hall or e-mail
