Getting Login Help for bSpace

UC Berkeley Affiliates:

Username and Password = CalNet ID and Passphrase.

UC Berkeley students, staff and faculty should always log on to bSpace with their CalNet ID. This includes visiting scholars and summer session students. bSpace uses this ID to identify you and to display only the course and project sites in which you have been made a participant.

If you need help obtaining a CalNet ID or passphrase, please visit CalNet or call them at 510.643.6839.

UC Berkeley Extension or Concurrent Enrollment: 

Username and Password = CalNet ID and Passphrase.

After your application is completed through Extension, you will be given an Extension ID and PIN. Your Extension ID is your CalNet ID.

Non UC Community:

Username and Password = Guest email address and Password.

External guests that are not part of UC Berkeley need a guest account to access bSpace. Only the instructor or GSI of the course can add you.  For project sites, please contact the maintainer. You will be added with your email address and this will be your User id. You will then automatically be emailed a password.

Reset Password 
If you have forgotten or lost your password, reset it yourself with your email address.

Looking to create a guest account for a Non UC Berkeley user?

• For course sites, you must be the instructor or GSI to add a Non UC user
• For project sites, you must be the site maintainer
• You must know the email address of the person you wish to add

Having Problems Logging In?

• Please remember that CalNet ID is case sensitive.
• If you are on a Mac, please use Mozilla Firefox as your browser
• Haas affiliates, email helpdesk@haas.berkeley.edu
