Troubleshoot Computer Display

Projector’s ON/OFF button blinking

The data projector is warming up or cooling down. Wait until it stops blinking then proceed.

 Laptop does not display on projection screen

PC Potential Problems

• Display not configured to clone/dual display/mirror. Toggle between presentation display modes.

• VGA pins are broken

• Laptop/computer is not selected on the control panel in the wall-mounted technology black box

• Laptop video resolution is set too high

• Graphic card are not configured to clone/dual display/mirror. Please see laptop owner's instructions for how to properly configure.

Mac Potential Problems

• Missing or wrong Mac VGA adapter.

• VGA and/or Mac adapter is broken

• Display settings not configured

Projected laptop image is just showing the desktop with no icons

PC

• In display settings, uncheck extended desktop

Mac

• In display settings under the arrangement tab, click the mirror displays box.
